2nd week on the job, and got my first desk rejection for a paper! Celebrating this failure because 1) #growthmindset, 2) it shows I'm trying new things (and new-to-me journals), and 3) it reminds me how fortunate I am to have made it here. Now, once more unto the breach!

❕New paper alert ❕ https://t.co/6gRQCuIgdu Working on this longitudinal project in Julie's lab during my postdoc has been incredibly fun and illuminating 💜We're entering Year 4 with our longitudinal cohort this fall and it's been so cool to see how things evolve over time!

My @SABERcommunity buddy group was a lifeline of connection during the pandemic and beyond! It is so fun to see them in 3D at SABER and as we move around the country for new adventures. Honored to be featured on the SABER webpage with this fun group:

An exellent paper choice for one of my favorite features in @CBELifescied! I love using the annotated articles in journal clubs with students new to #DBER
This installment of the "Anatomy of an Education Study" annotates an article by Stanton & colleagues that uses participatory action research to identify and explore the assets that Black students use to navigate a primarily white inst. https://t.co/UroiHjn7ZR

I was delighted to read this article about @universityofga this morning! Proud of my alma mater and current workplace for championing change and promoting #activelearning @MegMittel @drtoyinalli @DaxOvid
Georgia’s focus on teaching culture is ambitious and unusual — especially for an R1 university. It’s much easier to add a new program for students or emphasize a core skill in the curriculum.
