There will also be evening events where special guests will share their selected tracks in front of a live audience. Participants include Lizzi Bougatsos, Dennis Bovell, Brian Eno, Andrew Hale and Linton Kwesi Johnson, with more to be announced.

On Sundays, the space will be activated by 'Sound Service', live listening sessions led by musicians, artists and collectors who will share selections from their collections played on the Western Electric and Bell Labs sound system courtesy of Laurence Passera / dsp London.

Each painting engages with music in a different way: some depict spaces where music is heard, others show musicians performing or people dancing. Many were created during Doig’s years in Trinidad, where sound-system culture and cinema deepened his connection to music.

Now open: 'House of Music' by Peter Doig 🔊 At Serpentine South, artist Peter Doig transforms the gallery into a listening space, showing his paintings alongside rare analogue speakers that play music from his personal record archive.

'TO REMEMBER YOU BY' is a bonus game that allows players to take a break and record their thoughts in a private space by contributing to a book that acts as a record of public opinion.

'I DONT KNOW IF I CAN BE HONEST IN FRONT OF YOU' asks a series of questions, using the language of voting: players decide what to shoot, or who to censor using their lamp-shaped guns.

'I CANT MOVE WITH YOU' requires teamwork to move a ball through maze-like levels. Players must tilt a table in different directions to guide the ball.

This exhibition is about learning to talk to strangers again. Brathwaite-Shirley prompts visitors to make decisions together and explore themes such as polarisation, censorship and social connection. Visitors will encounter four rooms, each containing a different game:
