Gondek & her friends voted yes to this ridiculous motion. Since they can’t focus on what their jobs actually are like cutting spending & taxes, it’s time to vote them out #yyc2025election.

The Motion to “Naturalize” our roadways was defeated at Council. I debated many reasons why it shouldn’t be implemented with one being that if homeowners let their lawns run wild they would get fined

Why do I care about Free Speech so much? Because I (along with so many others) have seen the Far Left try to suppress and cancel people with differing opinions for far too long. I’ll probably be accused of spreading misinformation with this post and article comments:)⬇️

Don’t we have banks for this? Nothing wrong with renovating and upgrading your home but I’m not sure why the City needs to be involved? We should focus on improving delivery of core municipal services and I don’t believe banking is one of them.

Anyone buying Mayor Gondek’s uncharacteristic fiscally responsible move to suspend Council pay raises or is it just electioneering? Here she is three years ago with her usual Snarkiness shutting down my Motion to freeze Council pay with help from her Council Allies.

Maybe not surprising that the mayor and I disagreed on the Massive Glenmore Landing Redevelopment project but I’m pretty sure the vast majority of the Community agreed with the eight of us who voted against it.

Mayor Gondek’s claim that she "saved the Green Line" in her press release today is completely false. The project’s progress is thanks to the motion arising that @DanWMcLean and I brought forward for the establishment of a working group to collaborate and advance the project.

Do you know what the biggest problem at City Hall is? It’s the CULTURE. It’s not just the tax and spend we know best attitude, It’s the ultra progressive policies on Climate Change, DEI and ESG embedded into an ever growing bureaucracy that costs us all more.

Some members of #yyccc have been spreading misinformation about the savings proposed in this year’s budget, so let's clear the air. ➡️ What we didn’t do: We never proposed cutting funding for mental health or the low-income transit pass. Instead, we called on the Province to

I’m relieved that #yyccc made the right decision this morning by rejecting an irresponsible motion that could have jeopardized public safety. Some members of Council and the mayor have pushed an agenda to take $8 million out of the Calgary Police Service’s budget and shift it

Day 4 of budget deliberations. “So far every time we look for savings it gets shut down. This is hardly a hold the line budget, in reality it’s $600 Million in new spending. Our budget went from 4B to 6B in just a few years, a 50% increase so hardly a hold the line budget”
