This is a high-value use case! I gave Comet a set of criteria to find me a list of conferences I should be attending. Once it made the list I had it add all the dates as placeholders to my Google Calendar. Done in no time. I agree, why is this not something Gemini does in gmail?.
USE CASE 1: Email and Calendar management. With the Google Cal and Gmail integrations, it can summarize emails, schedule meetings, and manager calendar events directly from the browser. It's weird that Google hasn't done this yet

That is and has always been true. If one is studying for a job other than a skilled artisan (only done via apprenticeships), one is always doing so for a job that may cease to exist. The right way to study is to learn how to learn, that too how to learn from 1st principles.
An entire generation is currently studying for jobs that will not exist.

My daughter, currently a @CapitalOne acct holder has been on the phone with the bank for the last 30 min. She's unable to open a savings account in the App: it asked her to call. Agent verifies her via app then says account can't be opened as they cannot verify her Identity! 1/2.
