I’ve had tough interviews before, but Jiminy Glick was something else. Thanks to Martin Short for inviting me to be part of the fun at the @greatoutdoorsCF. Fantastic event!

A smart investment from the province. We're also eagerly awaiting anticipated bail reforms from the federal government that would target repeat violent offenders.

Wondering how I ended up as a Jeopardy clue? . Part of the credit goes to @theejessmoore, a Winnipegger who now lives in L.A. and works on the show. @Jeopardy writers have given Winnipeg a few shoutouts over the years, including references to @RWBallet and Lake Winnipeg.

This is just an intersection, but it’s also a step forward. After 46 years, Portage & Main is open to pedestrians again. Just one piece of the bigger work to build a better downtown.

Great op-ed in today's Freep from longtime transit advocate and passenger @JosephKornelsen on the upcoming (June 29!) launch of the new transit network. It's a big change, but one that will connect many more Winnipeggers with access to frequent transit.

This is about being more responsive, more efficient, and more focused on what residents need. Check when the Neighbourhood Action Teams will be in your area: And if you see them, stop and share your own list of maintenance fixes you'd like to see.

Teams will rotate through every ward in the city this summer and fall, working from a local to-do list built with city councillors and community groups. They're starting in Daniel McIntyre, Mynarski, and River Heights–Fort Garry this month.

Every neighbourhood has a to-do list of outstanding maintenance items: potholes, broken signs, debris, dangerous branches, and damaged sidewalks. Instead of sending separate crews for every issue, Action Teams are cross-trained staff who can fix multiple problems in one go.
