In 2017 CT had a split senate and near split house and that group created the budget and bill that saved CT from near fiscal collapse. Balanced budgets, better bond ratings, saved 100s of millions due to paying down debt. In 2018 CT voted to destroy it due to Bad Orange Man.

This was not surprising as the party that wrote these bills (and outside PACs) have a super majority. The only thing that will turn this around is that the Dems bully Fairfield County enough to stop with their feel good votes.
After 13 hours of discussions, debates, and voting, the House of Representatives approved all four bills that were introduced for this special session.
