@schlijperisrael This lane isn't great tbh. Loads of people constantly cross it, shortly before this part it winds in a way that makes lots of cyclists to go off it and it abruptly ends before the intersection - causing mayhem. Should have been on the road-level rather than street level.

@XpioWolf @schlijperisrael It's not just a curve, it combines very oddly with another bike route and a crosswalk. I'll take a picture next time I'm there.

@schlijperisrael Actually it’s not good. Tree lined streets hinder pollution particles from being dispersed so they remain trapped at low level where the cyclists and pedestrians breathe them in

@schlijperisrael Same idea (without the trees) in Mainz, DE with the same issues. Other cyclists securing bikes to lampposts and restricting the lane, multiple transverse traffic - both vehicular and pedestrian- and the latter wandering into the lane with their brains at half mast.
