I cannot overstate this… if you are afraid that your child is going to have a gender affirming surgery at school but you aren’t afraid they may be shot at school, there is no way we’re living in the same nation.
Trump: Can you imagine you're a parent and your son leaves the house and you say, Jimmy, I love you so much. Go have a good day in school and your son comes back with a brutal operation.

Screaming at employees doesn't make you a tough boss. It makes you an asshole. Great leaders are demanding, not demeaning. They set high expectations and create accountability without abuse. Yelling is unprofessional. Treating people with dignity is not optional—it's required.

The person who talks the most is the most likely to become the leader. Regardless of intelligence and expertise, groups elevate those who command the most airtime. It's time to stop rewarding people for dominating the discussion, and start valuing quality over quantity.

I recently covered our inpatient service for a couple of days. The phrase I never use and I dislike hearing: “I’m just covering.” To a patient, you’re their doctor that day. Own the responsibility & privilege. #MedTwitter #MedX

Approximately 19 kids under the age of 18 have gender affirming surgery every year in America. More than twice that number of kids will get shot JUST TODAY in America. If they’re telling you we need to address trans healthcare and ignore gun violence, you’re being fed a lie.

Maybe not the most important part of today’s news but definitely proud of this: “The all-female board is made up of doctors, politicians, and veterans of the non-profit sector.”

Want to annoy an introvert in a meeting? Have a group of extroverts talk nonstop for 30 minutes, then at the end of that ask the introvert “so why haven’t you chimed in?”….probably because they can’t get a word in 🤷🏽♂️. Ever been there? #introvert #workplace

The most valuable voice in a meeting isn’t the person who talks the most. It’s the person who says the most with the fewest words. Dominating the discussion signals high self-importance or low self-awareness. Making space for others to contribute shows respect and earns respect.

We pay too much attention to the most confident voices—and too little attention to the most thoughtful ones. Certainty is not a sign of credibility. Speaking assertively is not a substitute for thinking deeply. It's better to learn from complex thinkers than smooth talkers.

The true leader in a group is rarely the person who talks the most. It's usually the person who listens best. Listening is more than hearing what’s said. It’s noticing and surfacing what isn’t said. Inviting dissenting views and amplifying quiet voices are acts of leadership.
