Oh yeah, when I was in school, that’s what everyone was trying to do so the market is likely very oversaturated. 😬 I have a friend who quit his corporate job, got coding certificates, moved to SF, & he’s thriving but thats entirely anecdotal & doesn’t seem to be the norm!

He’s stuck at home because he can’t get a job in the field of the major his parents forced him to study 🙃
this is such a horrible situation to be in because he genuinely wants to help her but she doesn’t want it

computer science and apparently the tech industry is shit right now which other people in the comments confirmed. now that i think about it there were so many tiktoks lately about major layoffs from all the tech companies

Over the past 2-3 years I’ve seen people do this, I think that’s actually what’s contributing to the over saturation of the field. A lot of influencers kept getting being into coding and recommending certifications
