We are excited to share our new spatiotemporal integrative model of nucleocytoplasmic transport by the NPC, led by @BarakRaveh, in collaboration with those at @IntActOme including the labs of @DavidCowburn1, @RoutLab_RU, @TheVillaLab, and Roderick Lim:
New year, new manuscript! Our work on mapping transport between the nucleus and the cytoplasm is now on BioRxiv, and it's time to embark on a journey through the nuclear pore complex. Nuclear what? Bear with me! https://t.co/SvqGtxIN9w

Diverse multiresolution data & an ensemble of heterogeneous models, can you imagine a better setup for the #IntegrativeModeling?) Great collaboration led by @DrMartyTaylor & Donna Romero @rome_tx, @macro_momo, @RoutLab_RU, @bengrbm, Eddy Arnold, Matthias Götte & @KathleenHBurns
So excited to share our story revealing structures, functions and adaptations of the human LINE-1 retrotransposon, an ancient genetic parasite that has written 1/3 of the human genome and is implicated in cancer, aging, & autoimmunity. Now out in @Nature

We stand in solidarity with postdocs and graduate students in their bargaining with the University of California. We fully support a lawful and fair bargaining process. We believe that researchers should think about their science, not how to pay rent.

We advocate for and extend integrative modeling to a dececentralized framework design for simple whole cell models. Hopefully this will push the community to integrate multiple models into one, in addition to integrating multiple data-types into a single model.
