Dr. Ali Taha Khalil (Associate Dean of Research, Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, Pakistan) delivered a talk on “Building Capacity for Clinical Research in Pakistan: Role of Healthcare Institutions." 🏩

Safat Ullah @SafatUl80655206 (PhD Student, @CONTROL_NIHR Program) presented his PhD research titled “Feasibility and Acceptability of Culturally Adapted Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Patients with Cannabis Use Disorder in a Tertiary Care Hospital, Peshawar.”

Muhammad Sohaib @IMuhammadSohaib (PhD Student, @CONTROL_NIHR Program) presented “Tuberculosis Stigma: Prevalence, Demographic Correlates, and Relationship with Health-Related Outcomes among TB Patients in LMICs –A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.”

PhD research titled “Effectiveness of a Cognitive Behavioural Intervention for Depression and Anxiety among People Living with HIV (The CHERISH Study: Pilot Feasibility Trial)” was presented by Huma Mughal (PhD Student, @CONTROL_NIHR Program).

Abdul Latif @LatifAfzal5 (PhD Student, @CONTROL_NIHR Program) presented his PhD research titled “Availability and Readiness of Mental Health Services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: An Explanatory Sequential Mixed-Methods Assessment of Health Facilities and Stakeholder Perspectives.”💡

Aliya Durrani (PhD Student, @CONTROL_NIHR Program) presented her PhD research titled “Adaptation of Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Postnatal Depression in LMICs Using the ADAPTE Framework.”📝
