We've been taught that actually getting a productive developer environment working is this long, drawn-out process of hunting for a thousand tools. But it really doesn't have to be! We can put all the basics in the box, and it'll just work.
Omarchy is so sweet! I installed VS code, cloned a couple projects, and started some dev containers. Everything worked first try! I didn't even have to install docker. @dhh

I think I might add a "composer run dev" script to the Laravel skeleton. - php artisan serve - php artisan queue:listen - php artisan pail - npm run dev All in one command with nice color coded output. π§Ό One minimal command to run everything you need for local dev.
