Earlier people used to travel to Kashi or Ayodhya to have their name documented as per their gotra. So their entire lineage was documented. So you'd ideally find every script that side.

Don't understand why no one really looked into this till 2014..
Shd hv taken this issue long ago.. Even advani took rath yatra in 91.. But didn't hear abt gyanvapi.. At that time..
