Hello everyone! Officially done with General Surgery residency training! ✨ 5 years just went by?! Oh yeah, life also happened - got engaged, a pandemic happened, got married, built and moved to a new home 🤯 all in the middle of training. 💜 Sending you much much good vibes! 🫰

Sounds that never bothered me but now I swear at every morning now that I am a mom: 1. Motorcycles revving their engines (as if it makes them any cooler) 2. Dogs barking > 10 secs 3. A car that honks forever (as if whoever is in front will magically disappear) 😂😂

As I was nesting 🤰, some of the things I wanted to buy weren't available locally, thankfully there's Shipping Cart where I could send all my packages and have it directly sent to my doorstep (yes, fees are inclusive of custom taxes). The app is also amazing! #ShippingCartHaul

One thing stuck in me post GS - the surgeon is the captain of the ship, the one who commands responsibility of the entire operating team. When complications happen, I hold accountability. Im wired that way. So the DOT fiasco is simple but complicated by lots of dirty politics🍿

Surprised it didn't take much of me to cut down on caffeine. I thought I'd struggle but since residency ended, I can actually go through the day with just 1 espresso shot (from a regular 4). Made me realize how much life I've gotten back by the caffeine I have managed to lose 🤍

At a point where I just want time to 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 move fast and slow down 😅🤍😂

The @hellohonne concert dates was a struggle. I have too many scheduled things on those days. For one I'm duty on May10! I took the difficult tix booking as a sign. Not meant to watch in MNL. I couldn't let it pass. Booked late but scored tix in their DVO concert. Can't wait! 🤍

My blood starts boiling when I see motorcycle drivers who don't wear helmets, more so when they have riders who don't wear too. The things I've seen in the ER is too traumatizing! The people saved from wearing one is truly amazing. So save everyone the trouble and wear a helmet.
