Jean Carnahan worked hard for Missouri. She was a full partner with her husband, Mel. She was a dedicated advocate in her own right as First Lady, and as a United States Senator.

Blaine Luetkemeyer is a great friend and has been a great and effective member of the Congress representing Missouri. Blaine was one of the people I always turned to when something needed to get done for our state. @RepBlaine

Any time I saw him in the last 25 years he would always ask what he could do for me. And then he always did it. He was a great friend and I will miss him.

Ron Richard was an extraordinary leader. His service as both Speaker of the House and President Pro Tem of the Missouri Senate was unmatched.

I was lucky to serve with @SenatorCardin in both the House and Senate. He was and is admired and respected on both sides of the Capitol. Whether it's tax issues or foreign policy, he is always an important part of the debate.
