#Sinners scratched an itch for me with modern day music playing in period pieces. This scene was the turning point. The movie switched up genres, and it made sense to the narrative. Beautiful work. 👌.

Yesterday, we lost a music legend and, more importantly, a beautiful, luminous human being. Shaun Martin touched so many people during his life and through the beautiful immortality of music, will continue to do so. There’s so much that can be said but words can’t do justice. RIP

The obvious impulse when going for an "Animal song" would be to just show the animals on screen. We instead decided to approach it by putting on an "Animal Puppet show" by Kunda and his friends for their parents. It made the episode much more fun to work on.
