We unequivocally condemn the brutal attacks by Hamas on Israel on 7 October. We are alarmed by the numerous accounts of gender-based atrocities and sexual violence during those attacks.

@robertmclaws @UN_Women Did they officially condemn it? Why is this condemnation not on letterhead or in an official press release? Why not signed by the head of this agency? And, finally, what new finding prompted this decision?
