I have no skin in the game, apart from as a citizen. And I would be open to nuclear if it stacked up for Australia. But it is pretty bloody obvious by now that it doesn't. We have more land, sun, wind and gas than just about any nation on earth. Why would we go nuclear?

The opposition leader is attacking the CSIRO while the world’s greatest minds are here for the World Science Festival Brisbane. It's a little embarrassing. 🫤

Craig showing what he really thinks of voters and those with independent thought.
Unbelievable. And these people vote. Some people think their roof-top solar gives them power at 6am at the end of March, when the sun doesn‘t rise until 7am in Sydney. 🤦🏻 And even at 8.30am, a solar system in Sydney would be lucky to be running at 20% of capacity. So if you

Many triggered people commenting also fail to recognize other factors additional to the vaccine including distancing, masks and hospital/medical protocols had an effect..
Still staggering how successful Covid vaccines were at effectively ending the pandemic Remember those dark days when we just didn't know when we would ever emerge from it We did..in large part due to vaccines @Worldometers

Can someone tell the fuckwits in the LNP about this..... nuclear in decline due to cost blowouts as renewables take over. Talk about a dead horse....🤔🤔🤬🤬🤬🤬 Nuclear power continues its decline as renewable alternatives steam ahead https://t.co/mUqedS0VGx via @worldfinance

Once thought of as the primary answer to the globe's renewable energy requirements, nuclear energy is now viewed unfavourably in comparison to solar and wind alternatives

Tks, @Camo2572. Yes, quite stunning. In U.S. over 100 reactors (of about 230 projects scrutinized by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission [NRC] and its predecessor the Atomic Energy Commission) have been cancelled-nearly half of which under construction.

Over the short course of nuclear power’s history in the U.S., more than 100 reactors have been canceled—nearly half of which had already begun construction.

I **strongly suspect** that "Morty" is NOT a "good family friend" of mine in the sense that 1) I've never had a cuppa with him 2) I've never had a meal with him 3) I've never met him. And I do NOT support "nuclear power".

Ian, if Ivermectin, is wonder drug you say it is, it must be counted as surprising that producers of the drug put out SPECIFIC warnings saying that this was a horse dewormer ONLY, and NOT to be used for Covid? Were they in on the conspiracy, too, to do down their own drug? (#FFS)
@Peter_Fitz That is fine Peter but I sure as hell do know the benefits of Ivermectin as do a lot of others. It is a Nobel Prize winning medical wonder that did not sit well with the Big Pharma profiteers. A lot of people died having been refused access to Ivermectin. Continue writing books.

"Yamagata viruses were in decline before the pandemic, and all the precautions that helped people avoid Covid-19 – including masking, staying at home and better ventilation – appear to have finished them off. They haven’t been detected since March 2020" https://t.co/VA9ut2ZEuW
