This is why I don't care about Zohran Mamdani's anti-Zionist politics, or his platform in general. Like Bernie Sanders, he's a squish who will cave and accomplish nothing if he's elected. Put money on Cuomo or Sliwa winning. Now.
Mamdani conceding on "intifada" to defer to fabricated perceptions does not speak highly of his ability to weather future times where he will need to be uncompromising. If you're going to be a tribune of the socialist left, you need to not be moved, even if that's uncomfortable.
