Now that’s what you call ‘working together’! @GNRailUK 700001 and @LNER 801221 arriving at King’s Cross in perfect synchronicity - the first trains through Gasworks Tunnel east bore at 0450 this morning, open again after 44 years of being closed. Well done @ECMLupgrade team!

Wonderful paint job, shame it's only out and about for such a short period...
With the retirement of our HSTs in May, it would have been a shame to not have a power car re-liveried in our EMR brand colours. 43274 is the only unique purple HST to enter service 43274 joins our Intercity Swallow 43102 as the only EMR-operated power car with unique liveries
