I've fallen apart and been put back together more times than I can count, even over the past 5 months. It's nice to be feeling nostalgic around a lot of dates that sting the heart a lot. The world sucks, but I'm well. I hope you are too, whoever is out there in this void.

It was really important for me to feel that again yesterday. I wanted to remember the fear, because the year ended up being a net benefit, despite Monday November 7th feeling like a day where everything would fall apart forever more.

It's been a weird week of anniversaries and meaningful dates. Yesterday was a year since *that* moment. I sat on the doorstep, remembering and reconnecting the fear of sitting on the doorstep.

I'm feeling nostalgic today and that brought me back here. Thinking deeply through the early 2010s and everything that began and ended here, or verged through my timeline like a diversion off the motorway.

Man. To all the friends old and new who managed to completely turn 2022 around, you have genuinely humbled me. Extremes at both ends of the emotional scale. I can't figure out a way to thank those who have really helped me get to 2023 with any kind of positive outlook.
