In incredible news, our preprint ( https://t.co/WcjxAYIGK4) has now been downloaded >7500 times from EcoEvoRXiv in the last week! We show that ecological results are very sensitive to who analyses the data and how they do it.
So excited to release this work into the wild. Thank you so much to the 300 odd researchers who contributed to the project. And especially to my joint-first-authors @TimParker88, @Elliot_Gould_ for putting in a terrifying number of hours on this

If you watch only one interview on the Nature Repair Market, make it this one with @megcevans @UNSW on @abcnews and hear three key reasons the market won't be effective to repair nature. ☹️

great to see formal recognition of Eastern Maar Native title
Land back for Eastern Maar 🖤 💛 ❤️ Assembly Member and Gunditjmara man Jamie Lowe said: “We’ve fought hard to survive and we’ve done that, and this is testament to that recognition that our people, the Maar people, have been here forever.”

Utter, deafening silence Guess we shouldn't be surprised that @AlboMP @Bowenchris & @tanya_plibersek are determinedly ignoring the @IPCC_CH #AR6 Synthesis Report https://t.co/1zJnSAFeb9

While the cat who sleeps in the pub was suitably unimpressed with our shiny @UniMelb award for excellence in interdisciplinary research ... *we* were chuffed to receive it & to celebrate with the team afterwards. We'll be back in 2023! Happy holidays all you lovely people 😻

The Biodiversity Council is 1 day old. It’s been a big 24 hours. Thanks so much to everyone who’s helped us launch. Too many names to tweet. Now it’s time for us to nourish and protect the thing that nourishes and protects us -
