I am fairly confident suggesting the tech industry is being dumb is not the solution for struggling communities.

If you dropped a Goog into struggling communities, you'd import a bunch of talent, 'gentrify' it, & alienate locals.

@pt Talent hubs are a self-fulfilling marketplace. However, I know many founders, who were forced to Chicago/NYC/SF, b/c investor location

@pt Founders need money more than VCs need founders. VCs are lazy (that's just how it is). So it's up to founders to move. QED.

@pt Those are not talent hubs. Those are resources and, hence, opportunity hubs. Talents move where they have more opportunities and more $.
