I walked the hallways at PSU in the mid-70's with Freeman Williams and always felt pride that he attended the same University. RIP Freeman Williams... It was an honor to be a contemporary at PSU with the player who has the second highest scoring avg in NCAA basketball history.

I was in high school when Freeman Williams was doing his thing, never saw him play in person, but he was a big deal,RIP.

So sad to hear the news about Freeman...best college bxb player and Portland St great off ALL time...great memories watching him play in a packed out PSU gym...RIP FW and prayers go out to your family and friends
