Added Grafana.

So i had been testing out devops for a multi-microservice(6 microservices) based application and finally got the prometheus set up. Adding Grafana to the k8s cluster and might expose the ip port to access it out of localhost.

So, spilling out all the learnings from one of my current project.

Today we revising Supabase for a client project. Might take maybe 2 hours.

Cues are meaningless untill they are interpreted.

I learned a lot recently. Deployed my project on K8s (manifests, secrets, pods, rs, everything hands on). Everything in Docker. Microservices communication (especially Outbox Table design pattern). Lots of learning in 3 days all hands on.

While the assignment seemed normal. There is one problem of data inconsistency that may arise if the db goes down before writing and the details are pushed to the queue. Inorder to tackle this we will be using Outbox Design Pattern. More on this after implementation.

Created two microservices. Both of them with different dbs, backends. Both are communicating via RabbitMq (first time using it). Finished the frontend as well. Left with dockerizing it and deployment. On it.!

While searching for YC backed companies, came across one using supabase as their DB/backend. Tinkered around and got the db access. Modified the db as well ( I don't know how did they not check this). Downloaded the db as well. Reached out to them. Let' see!
