Indeed. Today's surplus of women is caused by women of traditional marriage age holding out until their early 30s in the hope of finding a much higher status man.

Yes. As I implied it’s not an objective (numerical) condition but an ideologically phenomenon perpetuated by women themselves. Since there’re no laws (written or implicit) as in other part of the world to stop girls/women from looking around by their early 20s at most.
