@profvrr @DanielGriffinMD A surgical mask limits what is expelled by an infected person. If everyone is masked then the multiple layers limit overall transmission. In a school though you are going to need proper ventilation to make a real difference.

@profvrr @DanielGriffinMD Utah will apparently be offering optional masks for kids to wear in school. Here in Australia, where I am, kids under 12 aren't asked to wear them. But as I've seen on the Olympics coverage over the past 2 weeks, even *little* kids wear them in Japan. The kids will adapt.
