Today I showed my daughter a phone from last century. Questions: -What’s ‘Recall’ and Redial’? -Why is there a cord? Where did you put it? -What’s ‘Store?’ -Why did you need a hashtag when there was no internet? If you know the answers it’s time to take your Panadol osteo.

First flight cancelled. Second flight…delayed. Told ‘Don’t read the boards, listen to the announcements.’ So I asked @Qantas at Canberra airport…‘I have a staff member who is deaf and two who don’t know…how do I manage this?’ They had a policy and way forward. Thank you.

This. Also applies to #projectmanagement…’why hasn’t this been delivered yet?’
When people write “it’s 2021, why hasn’t anyone done this simple sounding thing” when it comes to system security, it’s probably worth sitting down and spending some actual time about why nobody has done that simple sounding thing yet. Or just send tweet.

New data has been released that shows the most locked down city in the world right now is.... Sydney. Movement has plummeted - but it's not *quite* as low as Melbourne got in its fourth lockdown: https://t.co/zw5oKsFHDE

I had to put in an exemption to go to Melbourne due to ACT being considered a ‘red zone’-despite us not having any Covid cases for over 12 months. But now I can’t even go to my Nanna’s funeral on Tuesday. Devastated. 😢 #melbournelockdown5 #victorialockdown #CovidVic

So I can’t remember my kid’s library day…but apparently I can quote to them my year 7 French poem about a strange cat named Orange that doesn’t like mice or rats but likes nougat and chocolate… @AF_Canberra

The dubious thrill of hook turns. Coffee so strong my eyelashes melt. Delicious dinners down obscure alleyways. @cityofmelbourne it’s so lovely to see you return to life again.

I received sms spam today claiming I won money from @woolworths and also had my account blocked by the @CommBank. (Incorrect for both.) Watch for spelling errors/abbreviations with such sms and please...call the company before you click the link. #cybersecurity

Me: ‘Ummmm this part may be abit awkward.’ Mum: ‘Oh stop being such a wuss!’ Turns out truly awkward is when you realise your Mum picks up on nuance before you ...and your crush... @bridgerton @regejean
