That short period of time also demonstrated how fragile the system is. Look at how the government scrambled to get everyone back to work as quickly as possible.
Everything is held up by toothpicks.
The stay at home orders at the beginning of the pandemic were the first time many people had slowed down in years. It showcased the importance of community & caring for others over capitalism. And those in power did not like it.

What surprises me is how many people are falling all over themselves to help the governments hide, obfuscate and deny the risks of COVID. They’re only too happy to clamour back to “normal” because they don’t want to have to adapt or change at ALL. So we all suffer.

I've said it before, but when ppl r ready to do smthn like this intentionally for the betterment of our society and the fall of this capitalistic hellscape, I'm here🤷🏽♂️

Esp when we noticed a slowing down of pollution - I had a feeling then it wouldn't be allowed to last. They can't let people see/believe that things can be different. They have to manufacture despair/helplessness. Hope for something better is inimical to late-stage capitalism.
