Three years ago, a huge multistage VC PULLED a Series A term sheet from a @pioneer_fund startup at the last second, for no reason. They’ve failed to invest in a single Pioneer company since then. ☠️ Also that portfolio company is now massively successful.

At @pioneer_fund we coined the term Unpass. This is when we pass on a startup, but ultimately reverse our decision and decide to invest. The Unpass comes from a humility in our decision-making. We KNOW that some of the startups we pass on will go on to succeed tremendously.
