-in clingy spirals instead of clean blocks that fall off easier, like D16's blue cig (kinda mildly annoying when u smoke it, I can imagine). The energon is also less refined and pure, which gives a much harsher taste and more tar. no status symbol anything😂not that Orion cares

adding in Orion's choice! a brand popular with the miners/cogless (but these two moved their way up out of it although still cogless.) It's one of the cheapest one which is reflected on the low quality materials of how the burnt crumbly metal ends falls out-

I can imagine maybe they like the smell, or the smoke is charged or some bs and it gives mini zaps inside the mouth idk 😂😂 I just need some logical prop explanation why they're smoking those stuff so that I can draw those poses! Also smoking is bad guys, don't start!

Orion also has a different brand he likes! Will come tomorrow. In this AU smoking can clog internal mechanisms with sticky tar-like energon residue. Ratchet will give good scolding because it is hard to clean out and also damages the internal structure slowly but permanently

I didn't want these to be seen as a vape because I think cigs have a more old timey look (I'd say vape is more of SG cop Orion's style LOL) so I wanted to give it physical elements where the energon and metal innards also crumbles off like our ash after being burned up inside.

This is the old exploration. I am heavily inspired by the old Gauloises brand xD apparently was used by artists and elites in society. in this AU is also the same, expensive too and reflects D16's wish to also be part of an artistic elite (contrasting his current mob occupation)

Some concepts nobody asked for but I wanted to draw because they definitely aren't puffing human cigarettes! And since in TF franchise bots don't seem to have a lot of personal possessions, i think giving them each something that also reflects their wants are useful!
