@AudacyCorp @Audacy leadership clearly prioritizes C-suite bonuses and profit above the well-being and safety of the people who dedicate their lives to serving this company. We are asking them to take immediate action to rectify the situation.

This draconian move illustrates a profound disrespect for not just this unit, but for all Audacy employees. It is a slap in the face to the community that Audacy claims is one of its core values.

As the open enrollment period is coming to a close, we have no alternative options for our healthcare. For many in our unit, out-of-network care is a necessity and lifeline. Without it, employees are forced to decide between financial stability and life-saving care.

🧵 The Pineapple Street Union was recently notified that Audacy is completely removing out-of-network benefit options for all employees. This was not said explicitly to staff or those in PSS leadership, or outlined in a clear way for employees.

The NYT Tech Guild is fighting for Just Cause, among other things. Just Cause is one of the things that we fought to get into our own contract just a few months ago, so we understand how vital and integral it is to a fair and safe workplace. Solidarity ✊🏽.

We are on ULP strike. We gave @nytimes management months of notice of our strike deadline, we made ourselves available around the clock, but the company has decided that our members aren’t worth enough to agree to a fair contract and stop committing unfair labor practices.

We stand in solidarity with the folks of the StoryCorps union. As a shop that's also faced rounds of layoffs, we're ferociously against union-busting tactics such as blatant direct retaliation. 💪.

On 10/22/24, StoryCorps suddenly laid off a shop steward and other CWA 1180 union members in an overt act of retaliation. Sign the link below to tell management: UNION BUSTING IS DISGUSTING. Reinstate these workers.

After nearly a year and a half of challenging negotiations, and with the guidance and support of our incredible WGAE reps, the Pineapple Street Union is well organized and protected by a contract that respects our hard work and ensures us access to the fruits of our labor. 🍍💚💪.

Displays of solidarity fueled us to fight even harder for a fair contract. May it be a reminder to us all to never underestimate the power of amplifying, participating in and heeding calls for solidarity.

While this contract is exceptional in many ways, we firmly believe that no podcast worker should be receiving less than what we have been able to agree to here. We are in an industry dominated by massive corporations, and this should be a floor, not a ceiling.
