Also new in the @sketch beta: Automatic Concentric Corners. We predict this is going to be quite useful:

There’s a new option for automatic concentric corners — based on your layer’s distance to the nearest container. Now you can unbookmark that tweet with the formula you refer to. 🧵↓

Liquid Glass is now available in Sketch Beta Image credit to Pieter Brueghel the Elder (1525-1569), who must have had Design Twitter post-WWDC 2025 in mind when he painted this:

"Wilders wil onder meer de grenzen sluiten voor asielzoekers met behulp van het leger.". Die man is knettergek. Fijn dat deze poppenkast opgeblazen is en dat we nieuwe verkiezingen krijgen.

But the team at Sketch can do a much better job talking about all the new stuff than me - and there's pretty videos:.

Remember when we said auto layout was coming to Sketch? It’s here. It’s called Stacks, and it’s part of our biggest release ever — out now. There’s a lot to cover, so buckle up and we’ll give you a tour. Also, stick around for a surprise at the end of the thread 👀. Let’s go ↓

Last one: Apple's have updated their iOS design resources to take advantage of Frames and Stacks which allowed them to streamline the document a lot. We also better integrated it, it can now be installed right from Sketch without needing to open DMGs.

I'll leave you with two last things. We've of course refined our homepage and I'm particularly pleased with the results here. I thinks its absolutely beautiful.

You can now also style subranges of text in your overrides bold or italic with *markdown*-like _syntax_.

But we *also* revisited the Command Bar which can now also insert Symbols and other Components. And a worthwhile milestone: We've finally killed off the deeply nested insert menus now that we've found a good replacement. Hope you like it as much as we do!.

But even without Stacks, it's now easy to build UIs that do the right thing almost out of the box; they resize keeping layers pinned to the sides rather than stretch them by default. The defaults for UI design are now much much better.

It drastically simplifies documents, as Frames can now be fully styled with corners, fills and everything. It also enables Stacks; Flex-like layout in your designs – and with our free but excellent handoff (Dev Mode anyone?) you can get the specs out easily.

What does it mean when Frames (Artboards) can now be nested?. Well behind the scenes:. - Everything around selection/hit-testing.- Everything around re-parenting as well call it; when you insert or drag layers around.- Everything around copy-paste. But the results are worth it.

We've got copious and detailed release notes about this though that can do better justice to all the changes than me: If that's too much to read, I understand! When I try to print this out it comes to almost a dozen pages. Let me break it down. .

In case you missed it, we released the biggest update to @sketch since collaborative editing. We've introduced Stacks and Frames, which required us to revisit basically every assumption in Sketch we had since day 1. Artboards became Frames, and there's a lot to unpack there. .

We may not have called it "Dev Mode" – and now they've even trademarked it lol – but hey, @sketch's is free and awesome. And of course we present Stacks as copyable Flexbox properties. Check it out for yourself: .
