It helped because familiar voices talking about the stuff I like is really good to take my mind off and helped me relax into sleep. However telling those people “your podcast sent me to sleep” does not sound like a compliment. But trust me, I mean it that way!.

For the last couple of nights my asthma has been playing up. I can cope during the day but waking up in the middle of the night finding it hard to breathe is scary. Almost triggering a panic attack the other night. So last night I needed a distraction and listened to a podcast.
