This hits hard. It’s worth watching, please. Entirely plausible and why we need serious conversation around education and the Ai Safety Bill.

as a reminder: AI cannot generate knowledge. It cannot create knowledge. It cannot find new information. It can only mix information that has already been found and written and input into computers by humans.

I treated X algorithm like an engineering problem and grew my account over 111,000 people with great engagement. My background is in software engineering and X has an open source code, so I spent weeks reading that code and applying the principles. That's why it keeps working.

Nobody can be an Ai expert because the moment you think you’ve mastered it, it has already rewritten the terrain beneath your feet. At best we’re students of a moving mystery, trying to map and document it. Beware the Ai experts. They’re liars.

They say AI will destroy work. I say, good. Because what we call work today has destroyed us - our creativity, our families, our purpose. Time to let machines do machine work. Humans can be human again.

Spotify’s relentless spin on their terrible AI music policies is incredibly infuriating. In this BBC interview, I called out these policies. Approached for comment, their spin was reported, unquestioned. Here it is, with what I would have said in response if given the chance: -

Short clip from the evidence I gave in Parliament yesterday on AI & copyright. The UK should lead the world in non-exploitative AI, rather than second-guessing other countries in a race to the bottom exploiting creatives.

To the #CPFC ‘fans’ who threw punches and threw chairs in Strasbourg last night; You’re not ‘fans’ you’re thieves. You robbed tickets from genuine fans who wanted to go and enjoy the game peacefully with their families, but couldn’t get tickets. Embarrassment to the club.
