G6 boys felt mascots are well underway. They have cut out their patterns, stuck on details and are now starting the blanket stitch to join the two pieces together. They are very excited to deliver them to their G2 buddies! @peter_prep #makered #stem

The Innovation & Design Centre @peter_prep is almost exactly how I imagined it last year when I designed the space on paper! It took a whole year to get here but it was well worth it! #makered #stem

Very impressed with some of the G3 instruments. They showed lots creative thinking with their material choice and ideas. While giving them choice in instrument design and material choice was Boys best practice, it was hard to ensure all 26 boys were making effectively. #makered

One of the 5 final projects for grade 7s was to build a @MSMakeCode arcade game around a theme. These boys chose climate change. Can’t wait to see where how this develops in@future iterations. #makered #stem #arcade #GlobalGoals

So happy with how these turned out. G4s explore movement, hydrodynamics and potential energy with elastic powered boats. #makered #stem @peter_prep

The I&D Arcade is ready for action. It’s completely made out of cardboard and a @Raspberry_Pi Zero. A G5 has already coded his own game for it &The G7s are building climate change RPGs. Thanks @stulowe80 for the inspiration! #makered #stem @peter_prep

@educationweek We had PD sessions going through all the names of the boys @peter_prep ensuring that all the teachers knew how to pronounce names. In South Africa African names can be pronounced differently depending on which African language they originate from.

St Peter’s Day Eucharist! A celebration of our patronal feast, which commemorates the martyrdom of St Peter. This traditionally, takes place on the Friday preceding the winter midterm break. Here the girls leave the Chapel singing the Recessional Hymn, which gets feet tapping!
