I have 3 children. The childless are already taxed. They pay for education, child welfare, paediatric services, and child benefit. I also pay plenty of taxes that I don't benefit from. That's fair. But taxing the childless more is not.

I don't have kids. I pay my taxes. I have absolutely no problem with those taxes supporting the health and education of the kids I don't have.
It's part and parcel of living in a world with other people. But asking me to pay more because I don't have kids? That takes the piss.

Nonsense. Those with children finance the future by supporting their children. Why shouldn't the childless pay a share for their future? Doesn't have to be punitive. Just increase the child allowances to rebalance the tax bill🤨🤔👍

The government spends about £12,000 per person each year.
In todays £ that's about £1,000,000 for an average lifespan.
A bit of extra tax on childless adults ain't gonna help.
Just tax people and businesses fairly and progressively.
And if you need more tax payers... EU?

I am childless and more than happy to pay for all the things you mention. But I agree with you, penalising me further because I was unable to have children? Madness!
