This fish fooled me: about 3 cast prior a smallie hit Flipper and wriggled off. Then this hit coming towards me, I set - and it kept coming at me. At first thought another smallie, then a smaller muskie ... then we saw it.
It's good when they grow!

Nasty one out today ... spitting white rain all day and fighting coming from the water as it cools quickly. This helped ease pain ... main lake still just above 50 though did see some 49 degree water. Hard to get Laettner in the pic.

Forgot to share this last weekend... is awesome. So I guided the Hardy family for years. Dan Hardy (dad) holding the fish his son Oliver caught (bit too big for him to wrestle; good problem). It appears Oliver is has the Hardy muskie bug
