Think School didn’t blow up overnight. In 2019, I quit my stable KPMG job on my birthday, Feb 1st, to chase a dream I and Ganesh had seen, it was vague but it meant a lot to us. We had no credibility. No budget. No marketing team. Just belief. And time.

So we hit the streets—begging principals to let us conduct free lectures after college. Only difference was we wore suits not torn clothes ( see the picture below). Most said no. Some even blocked us entirely.

But a few students became fans. So we rented a tiny space near engineering colleges (not-so-legally) and started teaching communication from scratch. Soon, students were bunking college to attend our sessions.

We were teaching 6 days a week, running 3 batches—just the two of us. Then came COVID. Offline died overnight. No students. No classes. No income.

So we pivoted online—not to become YouTubers, but because we had no money to market our course. Which we had luckily made an online version of before Covid Hit (let me know if you want to know why we did it in the comment section)
