Homeschoolers talk about the 2-hour school day. But are we ready for the 5-hour work day?
The 8-hour work day was not ordained from above for all time. It was dreamed up by humans in a particular time period. It doesn't make sense for every person, every job, or every organization. And it makes less sense in the knowledge economy. https://t.co/wIME24wRVe

âJust tell me whatâs on the testâ = old model. âI know how to set a goal and get thereâ = new model. Open education is about raising kids who donât wait for permission to learn.
if you can set a goal and work at it until you succeed that's the only skill you need if school taught kids this skill, they could use it to learn math, program a game, or do anything else they need to

5,400 kids tracked. Every 1 hour of daily screen time = 9-10% lower test scores. But not all screen time is equal. Minecraft > Doomscrolling Quality matters more than quantity. https://t.co/ALhnh9XJZY

Research shows that each additional hour of screen time per day links to lower reading and math achievement.

Unpopular opinion: Grade levels are based on a factory model, not childhood development. Teach the CHILD not the Grade Level. (Okay fine this is now a popular opinion and Charlotte Mason knew this 100+ years ago) https://t.co/H4nAPEQXXg
