The older I get, the clearer this gets: Traditionalist conservatism is grounded in gratitude - towards our ancestors, our parents, & our civilization. 'Progressive Leftism' is grounded in ingratitude.
Gratitude is a cornerstone of the Jewish and Christian faiths. It's also the defining ideal of Anglo-American conservatism. America was founded as an ecumenical biblical nation, so our national holiday is a day of gratitude. My Thanksgiving reflection 👇
