Earlier this year the Mayor invited us to join his men’s mental health taskforce. It is brilliant to see new funding will be released later this year as part of this work. We are pleased to support David with his ambition to raise health outcomes. It is timely and necessary. šŸ‘.

The North York Moors and Howardian Hills are home to the only significant breeding population of critically endangered Turtle Dove in the north. That’s why we create habit to support them to thrive through Birds on the Edge. We love your sightings, so please tag us in them šŸ“øšŸŖ¶

Great to see so many sightings of Turtle Dove since their return. Our Birds on the Edge project is working with farmers and communities in the Moors + Howardian Hills to create and restore habitat to support this critically endangered species and others.

Our work in schools shows how nature is an asset in supporting children to grow up well - from wellbeing to development. Time to investigate, learn and play in/with nature should be part of all children’s formative years. Nature is part of the solution. 🌿

Embedding nature into education can have a positive impact on wellbeing, confidence, relationships, attendance. We know, we’re doing it. UKGovt should look at nature approaches in coming review. 1 in 4 pupils have poor mental health. @connie_dimsdale⁩.

We echo the Prince and Princess of Wales. Through Stepping Stones we give children from disadvantaged communities freedom to play and explore in nature - supporting health, development and learning. We nurture a love of nature and skills to protect it. Kids need more of this 🌿.

Spending time in Ardura Community Forest with the Mull and Iona Ranger Service and young nature explorers. A powerful reminder of the importance of protecting the environment and the role outdoor learning plays in building connection and care for nature.
