This seems so simple because it's just moving into different zones/open spaces but only done by a select few due to the level of thinking against the speed of play/interpretation + players don't see the field in camera angles.

@nueverole casemiro's work here is so good as well first that little carry( that he laid off to modric) caused the liverpool's forward line to recede thus freeing up space to move the ball from the back without any suffocation then his one touch flick to valverde..amazing player really

@nueverole Even with the goal, Modric drew Robertson deep into Madrid's half, then a quick passing movement from a few players found Valverde alone with miles of space and with an inch-perfect pass he took out +/- 3 players

@nueverole Let’s be honest, Real were outplayed & on any other day lose that game 3-1 or 4-1. They had 1 shot on target. Obviously fair play to them, let’s not pretend Kroos & Modric controlled that game though.
