Provinces are failing us. Federalism is failing us in healthcare. CHA is not being upheld, public health is worsening and children are now at risk of once eliminated diseases. We need the feds and national public health agencies to have more say and influence.

This is honestly too much. The Premier talking about 135M HC dollars just wasted and acting like she has NOTHING to do with why we are here. Everything she and her govt has done has brought us to this point, a 🧵to recap: https://t.co/VG0QqX4Oo2 1/10

Danielle Smith, leader of a party called Conservative, removes a lower cost preventive measure that will lead to higher costs in treatments. This in a system already stressed and struggling to reduce costs. Adriana LaGrange should be fired for this. #ableg #abhealth

She’s not a scientist or medical professional. She has no credibility on the subject. We have a vaccination regulation process in this country; that process isn’t dictated by her. If she wanted to address waste the first thing you would do is educate the

Both these actions will reduce uptake - of C-19 vaccine and Rx's. The vaccine is useful at reducing severe disease - the sort that makes you end up in hospital. Ditto for Rx's. So, I guess we must have lots of space in hospitals doing nothing. I hadn't noticed.

Can someone just check that Minister LaGrange understands her mandate is “Preventative” not “Preventing” Health Services? In all seriousness, these are backwards decisions all but guaranteed to not only hurt people, but cost us far more than they “save” in healthcare. #ableg

We are indeed seeing pts in the South Zone EDs who are refusing formal testing, because they don’t want to be counted in the rising numbers. This is just tip of the iceberg. Former acting CMOH warned govt of this coming epidemic last spring… govt chose to ignore him.
