Whatever happened to Raef after his pro career? We never hear / see about him.
I'd love to read about past KU players and what they're doing now--TJ Pugh, Ryan Robertson, etc etc....

My 1st day at KU I took the bus from Naismith up to Campus to get acclimated. I looked out the window, & Raef was standing at the corner of AFH at with a lettermans jacket & whitewashed jeans. "Whoa, BMOC! This is what KU is like?" I think Roy put him there like a zoo attraction

Underrated pro player. Knee and shoulder injuries hampered him. Thought he was turning it on a bit in Denver his rookie year before blowing out his knee

One of my all time favorite players. When I was a kid I wanted to be just like Raef! Even named a dog after him
