My teaching point to a BCM anesthesia resident this week in the OR: Initial Propofol dose (mg) as single agent for D. Cardioversion= the LV EF (%) - i.e., 40 mg for a patient with a 40% EF. It has worked great for me! Thoughts??? @BCMAnesthesia @SCCM @ASALifeline @accpchest

Incredibly reckless. We have lost hundreds of thousands of lives here in the US due to covid misinformation leading to vaccine hesitancy. This is a slap in the face to HCWs who were on the front lines wave after wave, watching people die needlessly.

This comes up all the time in ICU when patients are admitted w/ shock + AF w/RVR. Crucially this trial shows that HR ⬇️ w/NE use (@msiuba shared this great slide last year by @SethRBauer which I have cited many times since). NE in septic shock &RVR is a reasonable choice
