This actually annoyed me bc Jean should not be struggling against Cable in any way… I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since the fight’s not over yet but idk…. I gotta see how it turns out next week

There’s a guy on YouTube that explains this scene. Cable is essentially maxing out his power and he’s actually a powerful telekinetic. But he doesn’t use it n surpreses it so the virus won’t take over. he thinks cable will max out his power and succumb to the virus.

it kinda makes sense... Cable’s arguably a stronger telekinetic than Jean. Havok did call him an omega level telekinetic if I remember correctly (he’s not, but there’s potential if he wasn’t limited by the techno virus > X-Man).

Jean is clearly holding back and Cable telekinesis is really strong, he just don't/can't use it all the time because of the virus.

Nate summers (an alternate version of cable that doesn’t need to hold back) literally rewrote the world in a way that he was a Jesus figure.
When cables inhibitions are removed by sinister he could absolutely grievously harm Jean, especially as she’d be holding back.

Well if Mr Sinister is having Cable going all out and ignoring his virus, then he’s very much more powerful than Jean. He’s stated to be the most powerful psionic being in ANY reality. Literally full power Nate would become a being of pure psionic energy and limitless power
