Here's a little tip: you can use the /etc/os-release file to find out the OS version, release and name. It works on all Linux distros and includes FreeBSD. I haven't tested this with macOS or other OSes, so feel free to report if it worked on your obscure version of Unix ;) Haha

the day after Microsoft core AI team took over GitHub it started having issues These folks claim (especially Bill Gates) 24x7 how AI is going to take over all jobs. They can't even run stable git hosting. lol.
