This whole thing could literally boil down to not having enough space between your seats on the airline. Flights these days charge a premium and cut costs on the bare minimum. Let's not make everything about caste and religion. People need space without which feel threatened.
I was โupgradedโ to a middle seat in premium economy from my preferred last row window by #AirIndia on my Delhi-Pune flight yesterday. What followed was a 2-hour-long exhibition of the โdowngradeโ of the moral fabric of the Indian society. Of casteism, classism & Islamophobia. ๐งต.

If you can manage 30% of this. No AI is replacing you ever.
Things I would love to be hand held on rn. 1. Transformer architecture.2. Reading papers .3. Lifetimes in rust.4. zig.5. Running a Solana validator .6. Cuda development.7. What makes cursor cursor. I'm sure there's a simple hack there they've figured out.8. Karpathy lectures.

TLDR: Population and Political will. 2 things beyond the control of techbros. Look inward and decentralise. Change your process, implement remote work and then you don't need to worry about traffic jams and shit that's beyond your control. Spend 1CR wisely. Or give it to me.
A very unfortunate post. While it may have been with good intentions - it reinforces every possible negative stereotype of techbros and quite justifiably so:. - waving a wad of tech dollars as a solution to every problem.- posing technology as a solution to every problem.- (hard

Unfortunately I disagree. Its range will vary from the smartest human to the most stupid. And this will never change until every human is insanely smarter than their predecessor. Best case scenario you can seed the best one v/s the worst. But the uncertainty will always remain.
@slow_developer AI is already much smarter than most humans, just not yet smarter than any human at anything and much less smart than a group of smart humans using computers (aka โa companyโ). But it will be. Probably smarter than any single human at anything in <2 years and smarter than all.

Just returned home from the mess of BLR. We have better problems to solve than trying to fix BLR. Please leave the cities to the chaos and learn to get work done in a decentralised manner. The faster you figure this out the better you will succeed in the long run.
I am committing INR 1 Cr to find Bangalore Choke-Points via Google Maps & AL. 11 km โ 2.15 hours in Bangalore Traffic on Saturday late night!. I was stuck at one choke-point at ORR, where I spent 100 mins struggling to understand why there is no traffic-light or cop here!. But

This is bad code irrespective of everything else. No way you can be justifying this nonsense. The horrors of changing an index is not worth it. You could use Enums/constants for "performance" instead of direct indices. And if your engine lacks this. You're stupid to use it.
It is now fashion to hate @PirateSoftware without reason. If you look at the full code you'll see that he's documenting what each state means, and initializing them to zero. He used an array since it's easier to serialize / deserialize to disk. This is the best way to do this.

When shit got real, I had to turn off copilot/cursor many times. At that point they just get in your way especially when you want to get things done fast and in record time. Especially hackathons and game jams, when there's no margin for delays of any kind.
I basically don't trust "studies" of any kind ever any more, but, this matches anecdotal observations:.

Stable diffusion + SDFs + Marching Cubes + Selective Decimate. Not sure where this fits in the workflow apart from concept design. Most of the work is making modular and themed building blocks. We need bottom up approaches more than top down. AI these days is just top down.

YC is the very brand known for attention. So whether an attempt is made using it for the same is unsurprising. It's not uncommon for founders to be shy of not wanting to display their YC backing for the very same reasons.
This is a shitpost and a craven and sad attempt at attention, FYI. We don't have an "admissions team" anymore, we stopped using that term more than a year ago. The amount of anti-YC bullshit that is going on in the community is off the charts. Please stop.
