@nieshatrout @yashar I get that Scientology's a cult that harms many people in horrible ways, so Cruise is judged for that. But I feel criticism of Sci. is oft much harsher than toward mainstream religions that harm far more people thru doctrine/abuses. Many religions have more reach than Sci.

@nieshatrout I’ve just had this discussion with my housemate who thought he was completely justified. To which I said, I don’t think it’s ever okay to scream at people like that, especially at work. Nothing productive comes from that behaviour. Ever.

@nieshatrout Agreed. Where were the voices of the crew? Not a sound. I bet he recorded that 20x before he felt it had the right level of sanctimonious outrage. Just early PR for his movie. I mean, we’re all talking about him as a COVID hero now, right? So obviously staged 😂
